Kym Dominique-Ferguson

kymKym Dominique-Ferguson ferguson@madpoetix.com

Kym Dominique-Ferguson’s first and strongest passion remains poetry. Constantly looking for new avenues in which to express the spoken word, he created and launched Madpoetix Productions in May 2007.

Toronto audiences were given a taste in 2008 of the already well received erotic show “The Art of Performing Aural Sex” here in Montreal.

The Amalgamation of three artistic disciplines namely Photography, Cinema and Poetry into short films, resulted in the company’s production of several successful Poetic Videos…Ferguson’s innovative and substantive alternative to the increasingly overexposed music videos seen nationally.

“My Goal is to have this uplifting body of work by Madpoetix Productions seen, heard and accepted throughout the world starting with Canada, the USA and the Caribbean” says Ferguson “The gears are in motion as we speak.”

Ferguson continues to work on his poetry and has his sights set on a 2010 book launch, while planning a fourth installment of “The Art of Performing Aural Sex”.  Also, expect a new poetic video from this multidisciplinary artist, this time integrating animation into the mix.

Kym Dominique-Ferguson has a strong theatrical background and is a graduate of the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University.
