Dana Inkster
Dana Inkster teaches at the University of Lethbridge having joined the department in July 2007 – she teaches in the area of media arts and video production. Her art practice and research investigate the bounds of cultural representation and expectations of narrative in non-fiction. She has been profiled by numerous critics, journalists, and cultural theorists around the world and her films and videos have been exhibited in galleries and at festivals. The range of works that she has written and directed span a variety of genres, from experimental video art to broadcast television documentaries, and selections have been acquired in all continents. Her artistic work is complemented by her activities in marketing and communication in the arts and cultural sectors.
